“I’ve got space and time now, it’s such a big difference for me. Everything used to happen so fast for me from thought, feeling to reaction, so quick and I thought it was just going to be like that. I’m now discovering there’s something more than that, there’s space” – Ivana Culham
In this episode Ivana shares that her understanding of the Three Principles has moved, she feels she made a quantum leap in her understanding where more layers come off and she’s now noticing things that she hasn’t noticed before. Noticing her own personal thinking and when she’s biting into the context of something. She’s now noticing how there’s more space in between her thinking compared to feeling quite reactive in the past, moving from thought to feeling to reaction, trying to find answers straight away in order to keep up or not to miss out on something.
When we become aware of the space in between our thoughts, when we bring consciousness to our thoughts, we can choose whether to take our thoughts serious or not, bringing more awareness to them and allowing us to be less reactive.
Ivana shares how she used to think that all she’s learnt up until now, her own education, stuff that she learnt from her parents and other people was making up who she was and who she is developing to be. Now she’s seeing something completely different, where all those things are so unhelpful to hold onto and are limiting every step of the way. Now she’s looking at things in a completely fresh light, with nothing on it, no boundaries and full of possibilities. Even when sometimes coming across barriers, she now knows that each challenge has their own answers, nothing seems impossible anymore. She’s now experiencing life from a different base.
Kaye shares that she can see Ivana talk about “noticing and seeing”, seeing that she doesn’t need to be seduced by her thinking anymore which then creates more space as a result, realising there is more pure consciousness present which is not contaminated by thinking, where you live from your mind.
Ivana feels her ground has moved from which she can make up new things, which will come and disappear but now she can see the game of life at play, noticing how we make up things and then allow them to fall away again, no longer seeing things as permanent.
Ivana talks about becoming more aware now when she’s getting annoyed, having enough space to ask herself now whether she really wants to go there, having space to stop herself now from going places.
