“You suddenly realise that fresh thought coming in makes more sense than this stale old repetitive thought. However people don’t notice what’s going, they don’t know that it’s just this stale thought, they think they have to go with it and don’t have a choice.” – Shifra

– The made up identities we believe in
– Acting from an insecure space
“Realising this one thing makes a difference in being addicted and going with stress and anxieties, and noticing that I have a choice, that I don’t need to go there.”
In this video Shifra talks about the difference between fresh thought coming in that makes sense compared to stale old repetitive thought which doesn’t feel so good and knowing that she doesn’t have to go with these old type of thoughts. She can see having the awareness of thought is really impactful, it’s a difference of going with stress and anxieties and noticing that we have a choice.
Kaye talks about the made up identities that we create and then believe in, act from and defend ourselves from but have forgotten that we made them up in the first place.
“When thought falls away, there’s nothing to defend, we’re all the same and there’s a sense of equality, a sense of sameness not difference.”
Shifra & Kaye talk about acting on impulse, acting from an insecure space to defend oneself or someone else, where there’s no gap of thought, where one just acts from a place of insecurity, not realising what else is on offer.
