I remember listening to a Syd Banks audio and hearing him share “if you take the object away you’re left with the feeling”.
That bothered me because I thought yes, but had the object (situation, person or circumstance) not been there in the first place, I wouldn’t have the thoughts/feelings.
What Syd was pointing to is that the feeling doesn’t come from the object. The object is neutral; the feeling can ONLY come from within, via the Principle of Thought.
Mary Schiller, contributor to human being TV, has just released her third Three Principles based book, A-ha!: How to solve any problem in record time and in it she points to the same thing…
Syd was encouraging us to look beyond the form to see where our whole experience is coming from rather than looking to form to find reasons for our feelings.
I’m 66% through (thank you kindle!) reading Mary’s book and loving it’s simplicity – I’ve literally just had my own insight into why I was getting nowhere with a ‘problem’.
Mary writes “People do not understand that focusing on a problem is the worst way to find a truly effective solution.”
There’s a place, beyond the intellect, where fresh Thought comes in the form of insight – and Mary writes about how this resource is available to us 24/7.
We held our first live interactive webinar recently – and Mary was our guest speaker with the topic ‘Being in flow with what is and not pining for what isn’t’.

As we evolve here at human being TV we will be hosting more free live talks & webinars which we would love you to join.
