“Behind and beyond the form is the principle of thought, which left unattended, naturally balances back to our true north, our inner compass.” – Kaye Taylor
Enjoy this short clip from our recent Edinburgh Community Night with Kaye about going beyond the identifications of who we think we are to connect to our true north.
“The more strongly that I identify with any form whether it’s a belief system, a ritual or a practice that I do, if I identify with it and believe that’s where my well being is coming from, I’ve got something to protect. If somebody comes along and doesn’t share that same belief system I feel under threat and then I feel I have to show that my belief system is better than your belief system. It seems like we’ve forgotten that fundamentally regardless of where we we were born, fundamentally were all the same and the way you can see that is in babies. Babies don’t care about your belief systems, they don’t care about color or what party you support. Who we are is so much more than the made up images that we have about ourselves.”
